Behind the Shutter
Growing up with my father having a previous career in real estate photography, I have always heard stories about different uses of cameras. While on a family vacation to Maui on the road to Hana I got my first hands on experience at the age of 12. While sitting in the backseat, and without my dad's consent I began fiddling with his Nikon D3000 and before he knew it I had started my own path in photography. My photography focuses on capturing the beauty of the world we live in. Often times people nowadays don't take time to look up and around. Instead, I thrive on the less taken paths offering views of remote areas and capturing images from all perspectives. Now a student at West Virginia University, I hope to pursue a career that allows me to use photography on a day to day basis. But for now, I will continue to explore with my camera hoping to be able to share the less appreciated views of this planet with everyone.
